How monthly subscriptions are calculated
The key rule for monthly subscriptions is that data resets on the activation date, rather than being reset for everyone at the start of the calendar month. After purchase, the account dashboard displays the current plan, available data, and subscription access. At the start of each new billing cycle, the allowance resets according to the selected tier; unused data does not change the fixed allowance for the next cycle.
If the current allowance is not enough, you can upgrade during the subscription period. The price difference is converted into remaining days, so an upgrade is handled differently from purchasing a new full monthly subscription. Before submitting the change, review the new plan, remaining time, and order amount in the account dashboard, then continue with payment if everything is correct.
Monthly subscriptions are better suited to users with ongoing connection needs and a fairly regular monthly routine. When choosing a tier, do not consider only one device's usage. Since simultaneous devices are unlimited, consider combined usage across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Video streaming, file transfers, and long connections generally use more data than text browsing.
